L had her 11th birthday party today with her neighborhood friends and a couple of classmates. She did all the planning and made the invitations herself, setting the party from 2 to 5 p.m. Let's just say three hours is a looong time for a kid's party. L had a great time and had her friends play hot potato with a stuffed pink dog, then they played the "unwrap the present" game. They ate cupcakes, had some ice cream and milk and played some Wii games. It was loud and crazy at times. Andy finally went down in the basement where they were playing at 4:45 and told them the party was over.
