After our pool time Sunday, we ventured out for a late lunch/early dinner. We ended up at Caroline's Cafe.
Andy had a burger (it was huge) and I had a roast beef club sandwich. We were hungry and both sandwiches were good.
Lunch with a rooster and chicken. Welcome to Key West.
At 5 p.m. the city organized a "Just a Few Friends" second line processional to mark the one-year anniversary of Jimmy Buffett's death.
There were more than a few friends!!
Lots of characters.
I do love people-watching.
Lots of signs, parrots and sharks.
This guy is the lost shaker of salt from Buffett's song, "Margaritaville." So clever. People kept asking to pose with him for pictures and he was loving it.
They ended up at a park near the Truman White House for a concert. We stayed at the concert for a while but they weren't playing any Buffett songs. I thought that was the whole idea. Anyway, my feet hurt, it was hot and I'm sunburned. We called it an early night.
