Yesterday was surgery day for L’s cat, Vader. He had 13 teeth removed. Originally they hadn’t planned on taking out so many at once, but when they did X-rays they decided they needed to pull more. The vet said he did great so L was relieved. He goes back for a checkup in a few weeks and, depending on well he does, they might not need to remove more. After the surgery the doctor said Vader was more active and chatty and a lot happier as much of the inflammation he had in his lymph nodes and salivary glands had already gone down. L said he ran to the food bowl as soon he got home. She gave him some wet food. I imagine he feels better than he has in months.
In L’s other cat news, Houdini watched the presidential debate and swatted at Trump. Maybe it was when he said immigrants were eating cats?
