My teaching partner has theater training and loves reading to the kids. I'm OK doing it but I'm not nearly as dramatic as she is. I was called to read when she was busy with one of the more challenging kids.
They did sit and listen pretty well. Afterward, we had the kids act out the story. Tomorrow is parent/teacher conferences so I have the day off. And I have Monday off to take B to get his wisdom teeth out. We'll see if this virus puts school on hold or I'll be back in the classroom on Tuesday.
