Out with the old

I'm not sure how long we've had this green area rug in the dining room, but it's been a long time. It might be older than E. I know the living room carpet arrived shortly after she was born and the dining room rug was probably here earlier. The rug was still in decent shape though the fringe was gross and driving me crazy. We found a nice 8-by-10-foot rug while shopping yesterday and decided to take the plunge and buy it. Notice it does not have any fringe.

Here's E with all her teen-age knowledge helping (supervising?) Andy as he rolls out the new rug. At this point B and I were trapped in the living room because the dining room table was blocking the entrance between the two rooms.

Here Andy gets L to help and E is definitely slacking off.

And here's the new rug - a big improvement.
