Difference a day makes

They say if you don't like the weather in Chicago, wait 10 or 15 minutes. It will change. This was taken yesterday:

This was taken this morning after about 5 inches of snow fell overnight:

We are officially Chicago's third snowiest season on record with "a total of 79.1 inches," according to the Chicago Tribune. "In second place is the 1977-78 season with 82.3 inches, first place is the 1978-79 season with 89.7 inches." And our next chance to get more snow is Tuesday. Ugh. It's definitely time for spring.

B took a couple of pictures on the drive to school today. Even though I was driving slowly, most of the pictures were blurry because we weren't using the flash. He did get a pretty good shot of the high school entrance:

And while I was stopped in traffic on the drive back home, I was able to get a picture of L's school and the street. The snow was really pretty.
