E drove (!) B and his friend, B, to the high school last night for the annual Empty Bowls fund-raiser. The kids pay $10 for all the soup and bread they can eat and a bowl created by their fellow students. I think it's always interesting to see which bowls they bring home. E's is the one in front and B's is the one on the left. His friend chose the blue and white one. E said they had some chicken soup that the students made and some from our neighborhood Mexican restaurant.
