L got a fun assignment on Friday from her Spanish teacher. The teacher wants to be able to tell the story of the princess and the frog to the class and asked L, knowing how artsy she is, if she could make puppets of a prince, princess and frog. L and I went to the craft store and she picked out felt for the extra-credit project. She spend the entire evening working on the puppets. It's amazing what a girl with a pile of and hot glue can create. Below she's working on a butterfly puppet, but she's debating keeping this one at home. I wish she put this much effort into all of her homework.
