Disney Day 5 - Space 220

Foggy start to St. Patrick's Day. Couldn't see the castle at all. We spent some time today in the pool, rode Guardians again at Epcot and had lunch there, but our big adventure of the day was dinner at the new Space 220 restaurant.
It's tucked away in Epcot between Mission Space and Test Track.
We were given a "boarding pass" to ride the elevator to the restaurant.
Andy doesn't think we moved at all. I think we may have gone up a floor.
Enjoy the ride.
From Disney's website - "Along the way, viewports will give you an aerial view of EPCOT as you travel high above the planet. As you dine, peer out and enjoy amazing daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up."
The dining room has views of earth outside. Ocassionally you would see a satellite fly by or some astronauts playing.
For drinks Andy had the Black Hole Fashion and I had an Up All Night which had vanilla vodka, espresso and Kahlua garnished with astronaut ice cream. It was great.
Look, a picture of me.
For appetizers Andy had delicious truffle cheese tortellini and I had the tasty burrata.
We both had filet mignon for our entree. It was really good.
Desserts are fun. I had the Blue Planet (Chocolate Cheesecake, Cookie Crumbs, Vanilla Truffles, Raspberry Sauce) and Andy had the Messier 83 (Oatmeal Financier, Orange Cream, Blueberry, Crème Fraiche Gelato, Oatmeal Streusel).
During our meal the earth scene switched over from day (on the left) to night (on the right). That was neat to see.
I thought E would like this picture of hydroponic lettuce roating. The menu is prix fixed with you choosing an appetizer, entree and dessert and it's not cheap. Like a lot of things at Disney, you're paying for the experience. We both enjoyed it but it's probably a one-and-done because of the price.
