Sunset dolphin cruise

L was up bright and early this morning and rode her bike to Duck Donuts. They make doughnuts fresh as you wait and L said it was busy.

We took the kids to the Coastal Discovery Museum.

We did a lot of walking. It was really hot ... and humid, of course.

Looking at the marshy area.

They had a nice butterfly house.

And we walked some more. It was neat to see the big trees with the moss hanging on them. They're everywhere. The island is so wooded you only see trees as you drive down the highways and streets. The parking lots even have trees in them. You have to know where you're going or you'll miss everything.

Afterward, L and I went shopping while Andy took E and B to mini-golf. I love how most of the shopping areas have rocking chairs outside them.

Eventually, L and I went and found them on the course.

Have to say we were a little surprised to see that every hole had a Bible verse posted. The scorecard had a cross on it.

Both E and B got holes in one. E got a stress ball for hers and B won a slushie.

This evening we went on a dolphin sunset cruise that left from the Shelter Cove area next to our resort.

Cruising along.

A view of the boat from where we were sitting.

Proof that yes, we saw dolphins. L took this picture. I was too slow.

L on the front of the boat.

Pretty sunset pictures.
