Craft beer festival

Then this afternoon Andy and I went downtown with Julie and Kevin for a craft beer festival in Butler Field at Grant Park. We took the El down because the festival included 20 3-ounce samples - do the math - that's five cans of beer in three hours. Then, we get there and they don't even use the punch cards we were given. Surely we didn't have 20 samples. It was nice to try so many beers (they say there more than 200 beers available to sample) and toss out what you didn't want. They had buckets and cleaning stations everywhere. Next time we have to remember to make our own pretzel necklaces; it's the only food you can carry into the site. What a beautiful backdrop with the city on one side and Buckingham Fountain spouting off on the other.
