Christmas Eve

Let the preparations begin!

We woke up to snow that has continued to fall lightly all day.

Andy and I drove out to the PGA Superstore. He saw they were having a clearance sale and we thought it was going to be a lot better than it was. He didn't get anything. We did see a lot of cars that had run off the road because of the snow. I got this picture of Fitzgerald's as we drove by. Earlier in the month, we had tried to get tickets to their "It's a Wonderful Life" event but didn't have any luck.

I made a breakfast casserole and the mashed potato casserole for tomorrow's family dinner.

It's full of butter and cream cheese. Not diet food, that's for sure. It's the Pioneer Woman's recipe.

Had to get a picture of the kids before we left for the Christmas Eve service at church.

A snowy church before the 4 p.m. service.

L was asked to do a reading at the service.

Here the kids are with their candles during the service ...

... and B playing with the flame, I think.

L took this nice picture of me and Andy before we changed into our pajamas.

It's pizza for dinner!
