'Beautiful'

Andy and I went downtown to the Cadillac Theater tonight to see "Beautiful," the Carole King musical. She wrote a lot of songs that we didn't realize. It was a good show. Andy said it was like "Jersey Boys" but without the swearing.

Andy refused to pose for the show's photo opp. We did stand there for a while watching other people have their photos taken, but he wouldn't do it. Her song titles were on various boards and you could choose which ones to hold and have your picture taken in front of the show poster. Guess he'll only do that for a Jimmy Buffet show.

We were seated in the loge section, front row, right behind the ledge. Of course, we sit down and place our drinks on the ledge only to have the usher tell us we can't have anything on the ledge. Ugh. But that would be so handy.
