Sick day

Ai woke E up at about 2 a.m. this morning complaining of a stomach ache. E called her Japanese teacher (bet she loved that!) and then came into our room to see if Ai could call her Japanese teacher. The teacher came to pick her up. I'm not sure where she took her, but she returned her to our house at about 5:30 and said Ai should stay home for the day. She missed a field trip to the Chicago Art Institute but Andy may take her and E there Thursday evening when it's free admission for Illinois residents. Ai stayed in her room and slept until L came home from school and got her up. She said she was feeling much better. Both E's teacher and Ai's teacher called the house to check in on Ai. She plans on going back to school tomorrow.
