After lunch, we stopped at a Japanese supermarket, Mitsuwa, in Arlington Heights. It was really neat to just look around and try to recognize the various foods. E said her Japanese class will probably take a field trip to this store when she's a third-year student.
The place sure was crowded, though. Ai recognized everything and bought us these candies. They look like ice cream cones and taste like wafer cookies:
While the girls were at cosmic bowling last night, L created this anime drawing of Ai. I thought she traced it from somewhere, but she saw a tutorial on the computer and did it free-hand. She had it laying on the table this morning for Ai to see when she came down for breakfast.
