Tonight we took the kids to the Chriskindlmarket in Daley Plaza. It's fun to look around and see all the ornaments, cuckoo clocks and glasswork created by artisans in Germany. B and L had hot chocolate while we walked around and E had a cup of spiced apple cider. It was a warm night too (for December) so we were able to enjoy the displays without freezing - always a bonus.
Afterward we walked to Pizzeria Due for some dish-deep pizza. We hadn't been there in a while. Everything was going well until L tipped over her Diet Pepsi. The waitress had to bring us extra napkins to clean up the table, she mopped up the floor and L went into the bathroom to dry herself off. Then, not more than 10 minutes later, an older lady at the next table tipped her water over. At this point it was pretty funny. And can you believe it? L knocked hers over again, but the second time there was only a bit of soda left and some ice. Geesh. That girl needs a sippy cup.
