Picking Snyder Hall

What a stressful morning! L was on the phone with her friend, A, as they logged onto the university's housing site at 12:30 p.m. yesterday to pick their dorm room for the year. Their first choice, Wassaja, had no doubles left. Then they couldn't find a room in Nugent. Then they were debating between the Pennsylvania Avenue Residences (which B said are too far from campus) and older halls in the "six pack." After 20 minutes of indecisiveness, they ended up on the fourth floor of Snyder Hall, where B stayed for two years. They got Room 444 which is shown on the map as a "large double." We'll see what that means in August on move-in day. I feel bad for the freshman who have to pick their rooms with later timeslots this week.

And here's E with her puppy. Andy is flying out today to see her for the weekend and golf. He's loaded up with hand sanitizer and masks and they won't be doing any socializing so we're hoping all goes well.
