L and I weren't planning much for today. Allison needed to go to the Apple store to have a problem on her phone fixed so L and I decided to accompany her. The guy at the Apple store was able to fix the problem over the phone on the ride out so we didn't have to go to the mall after all. Instead, we headed to Lombard where they were having a craft show.
The only thing I was tempted to buy was this $15 garden flower made out of spoons. I sent this picture to Andy and he didn't like it. He later said it looked like "hillbilly art." Yikes. I told him they looked better in person.
We went stopped at a yard sale and went and to a Dairy Queen. It's hard to pass a Dairy Queen on a hot day and not get something. L had an Oreo brownie treat.
And E's knee update:
She sent this picture Saturday. You can see the right knee is swollen.
And here she was today icing the knee. She said it's feeling better but it still hurts. She took a chair into the shower and successfully had a shower and washed her hair. That's progress.
