L and J day


Aunt Julie picked up L this morning for a day at DePaul's Disney Celebration. First things first, they got coffee to start their day. Thanks for the pictures, Julie!


L painted a miniature tea set.


She painted Tinkerbell. The event was led by a woman dressed as Elsa from "Frozen."


Lunch was pizza at Blaze, one of L's favorite places.


They toured around the two DePaul campuses. L said it was a fun day, and fortunately, the weather was beautiful.


The highlight of L's day was meeting and talking to Philo Barnhart, an animator who worked on "The Little Mermaid." And surprise, he lives in Oak Park. She bought three of his prints. This one is skeleton Disney princesses, and he signed them all.


Here L's showing off his signature on another of the prints she bought. She also won some silent auctions. Her favorite was these sunglasses from Tokyo Disney:
