Tacos and Trivia

The youth group held its Tacos and Trivia fundraiser after church today. They're raising money for next summer's mission trip to Milwaukee. Fortunately, L was not working today so she was able to come to church and help out at the fundraiser. She was taking money for the raffle tickets and, surprisingly, Andy and I won two pies - French Silk and Key Lime to be made at our request.

Beautifully decorated table. We had chips and salsa, beef and chicken tacos, hard and soft shells, rice and all the taco trimmings.

This was an interesting build-a-taco race game. Our group came in first in the Wisconsin trivia portion of the games, but second in the build-a-taco.

Our prize for second place was Wisconsin-themed pins.

L helping out our youth minister with the silent auction items. L's contribution was to make someone a custom cake, which the youth minister won. Can't wait to see what design she requests.
