L and her friend, A, made some signs and joined the protest today against hate graffiti that was found last week at their high school.
The turnout was great. They said it was a very empowering march with lots of speeches.
This was just before the march left the high school and continued down Lake Street to Harlem Avenue. In all, it lasted about two hours. Of course, some news trucks were there. They've been covering the story all week.
