The other day I went to plug in our scarecrow decoration and it wasn't lighting up. It was a gift to us from Andy's sister Liz. I think she found it on clearance at Osco after Halloween one year. We've had it for at least 10 years; L doesn't remember not having it. At first, I thought the pumpkin face was a little creepy but it lights up and I like pretty much anything that lights up (or sparkles!).
We opened it up to see what could be done. We had to find a MR11 10-Watt halogen bulb (not as easy as you would think). I found it at Home Depot.
And it works again! Hopefully we won't have to change the bulb for another 10 years.
