Mayu was looking at the ears of popcorn we have on the mantel yesterday, and L decided that it was the perfect time to throw one in the microwave and see whether it really pops. She bought the ears when we were at Tower Hill church camp, when we went to an orchard. The girls were laughing and taking videos of it as it was popping. The kernels exploded right off the cob!
It tasted OK after dousing it with butter and salt, but the whole house smelled like burnt popcorn.
