Andy came home from work a little early and we packed up L and three of her friends to drive to Sawyer, Mich., for our annual church retreat. We stopped at Redamak's in New Buffalo on the way to meet up with other church members and to get dinner.

Here are some of the other church members who arrived at the restaurant before us but were still waiting for their food when we arrived. The waitress said service was slow because a busload of 60 people stopped to eat. She ended up taking AJ's sandwich off our bill because it didn't come out with the rest of our food and we got the girls' sodas comped.
