It's here! The total eclipse and The Weather Channel has all-day coverage. I got a free pair of eclipse glasses by requesting an Oregon travel guide a few weeks ago. Andy checked the manufacturer to make sure they met the viewing-safety guidelines.
E decided to walk over to the elementary school to view the eclipse. It was cloudy, but we were able to see a good crescent.
The glasses are stylish, aren't they?
Andy was working, of course, but was able to stop by Daley Plaza where they were giving free eclipse glasses away.
This is a picture E took with the glasses over her phone camera. You can see a crescent if you look closely. It was pretty cloudy so we felt lucky to see what we did.
