Coldest dinner ever

We spent most of the day at the Blizzard Beach water park, floating around the lazy river. We have pictures that Disney photographers took, but I haven't downloaded those yet. Maybe I'll post them later.

So Cindy and I thought we'd be goofy tonight and dressed for dinner in our matching outfits - her black shirt has the same pattern as my white shirt, and we wore contrasting shorts. We could barely keep from laughing but it took a while for the family to notice.

We ate in Magic Kingdom at the Crystal Palace. While we were waiting L and Cindy went to look at some shops so when they called our name for our reservation, they weren't back yet. The host was giving us quite a bit of attitude, saying he'd have to give our table away if he has to wait too long. Really? They showed up in time he didn't have to do that. It was hot outside and it was literally freezing inside. The kids may look warm here, but that's because they're huddling close together.

Crystal Palace is a buffet with characters from Winnie the Pooh. Here Andy meets Pooh.

And Piglet, of course, is too cute.

We waited for a long time after we were finished eating to see Eeyore. One of the managers came by and started talking to us while we waited and we told him how cold we were. He said it feels good after being in 90-plus degree heat all day. Sure, it does, for about five minutes. Eeyore finally came over and the manager gave us fast pass tickets good for any ride in the park for making us wait so long. That made up a little for the cold, long dinner. We suspect they keep it freezing so people don't linger. I don't know. We thought the tickets were only good for that night and we were unable to use them because the lines were pretty short. However, E read the tickets the next day and found out they were good for the month! We used them later in the trip.
