Sightseeing in Golden, Colo.
On Sunday, we, the kids, Allison and Pat drove to Golden, Colo., to see what was there.
They indulged me with a picture by the buffalo sculpture.
This looked so fun until you get to end where the sign says, "Get out," and have to carry your raft back to the start.
This was a spot you could step in the water.
The only bear I saw in Colorado (and I'm ok with that). Allison had bears by her rental that moved their trash bin to the neighbor's yard and she's pretty sure the paw prints on her rental car were from bears.
Coors brewery. We couldn't get tickets for the tour so we went to the gift shop.
Not worth the effort, but this is a funny shirt.
All of the beers they brew.
We think the "M" on this mountain is for the Colorado School of Mines in Golden. The kids had flights back home that afternoon. Andy and I fly back today.
