Quick visit to the Field

Beautiful morning to go into the city. Andy wanted to see the "First Kings" exhibit before it closes. He left the museum know yesterday and we got free parking in the employee lot. Sweet.
I went to the Founders' Council opening of it in March with Allison and Cindy.
At least this time there was no security guard shooing us out so I got to see the young girl's remains that I missed last time.
Pretty interesting.
We went through a few exhibits while we were there. This necklace is the most expensive piece in the Grainger Gem Gallery, we were told. The docent told us many of the diamond pieces were donated by a woman who wanted to donate to the museum. The woman would talk with the curator to see what the museum wanted, she'd wear it to lunch with the curator, then take it off and give it to the museum after lunch. Wow.
This might be a new dinosaur.
We feel special. We got a sticker.
