Our church hosted a pet blessing on the church's front lawn this afternoon. L and I took August and Muffles, who stayed in their cages. Another woman brought a cat and there were seven dogs and a fish there. August got a little nervous when one of the dogs kept barking at him, but he calmed down soon once we got him back home.
Here were L and two of her church friends waiting for the service to begin.
L tried to keep August calm during the service.
Pastor Sally gave each pet an individual blessing.
