L volunteered to play her flute during church today for the youth service. She played a song, accompanied by our pianist Joan, during the offering. Afterward, everyone clapped for her and then her friend, R, played a piano solo for the remainder of the offering. She got a round of applause too. It was fun to hear the kids, who were all sitting in the front row, cheer for their friends' performances.
