Warm May Day

Temperatures reached up into the low 80s today. L asked me to turn on the air-conditioning. It's a bit too early for that, don't you think? Any way, August sure was hot. He was laying stretched out, flat on the dining room's wooden floor to try to keep cool:

Andy finally pulled the screens down in the living room and lifted up the storm windows to try to get a breeze coming into the house. Both cats were sitting in the window looking outside when I heard some voices. A mom, her little daughter and their dog were standing on the sidewalk, pointing at the cats and saying how cute they were. Aww.
