Every spring the Irving Student Council delivers a token gift to the school's neighbors. A group of council members brought our gift over today after school. It's some sort of plant or flower - guess we'll have to wait and see what grows. It is clever how they made the planter out of a water bottle. (Recycle, reuse!) The note says, "Our school is noisy all day. We are not quiet when we play. Cars flood the street. Our bells do not sound sweet. We appreciate you on this day!"
