Tower Hill

We left early this morning for our annual church retreat at Tower Hill Camp in Sawyer, Mich. Here we are playing in Lake Michigan. The water felt pretty good. I think I heard its temperature was in the 60s. We had a beautiful day weatherwise.

After lunch, we went with a group of church members to Dinges' Farm where the kids picked out pumpkins and went through a corn maze. We also walked to Lake Michigan and climbed Mt. Baldy, the biggest sand dune at Warren Dunes State Park.

Here's a picture of me and Andy on top of Mt. Baldy. It might not look like a tall sand dune, but it really is. The water is a lot farther away than it looks.

And if you've ever wondered what a $50 pumpkin looks like, here's one E found at the Dinges' Farm. It's just over 100 pounds.

B and I put together a 500-piece puzzle. The picture was old things in an attic. We started it in the afternoon and B finished it this evening during the church service. After the service, everyone gathered around a campfire for conversation and s'mores.
