Halloween at school

E left for school this morning dressed as the dapper Monopoly man. We had Monopoly money stapled to her top hat, money shoved in her jacket pocket and money taped on grandma's cane. She also wore Andy's bowtie. She has a moustache, but the school won't let the kids wear anything that disguises their face. E also wore the costume to a friend's party tonight. B didn't want to wear a costume to school.

L's Halloween party and parade were in the afternoon. I went over to help with the party and to snag some of her class' pepperoni pizza. Mmmm. L was a Disney tourist. She wore her ears, her pins, crazy pink sunglasses, and carried her stuffed Minnie Mouse and a cool cup we got on our last trip. After the parade, the students watched a magician perform in the school gym, then went back to their individual classes. L's class munched on pumpkin-shaped Rice Krispie treats and decorated felt orange pumpkins.
