For the last month, L has been working on her third-grade community project. She had to create a community - she named it Ecofunville - and write a paper or do a project to tell about your community. She did both. The project has been sitting on our dining room table for the last month. It was a challenge sometimes to get her to work on it. Slowly but surely she got everything done.
The project is due next Tuesday, but L carried it to school today. She was loving the positive comments she got from the kids on the playground as she walked past them. Let's hope her teacher thinks it's cool, too.
