Last day at home

Today was L’s last full day at home before she leaves for college. We went to Jewel and bought some flowers for her bosses at the bakery. She also picked up a large order of cookies to take with her to Chamoaign.

We came up with an idea to sell scrunchies along with the masks. Found a video on YouTube and whipped some up. Pretty easy.

We went to Bed Bath & Beyond for a crate and desk lamp and picked up her friend, A, on the way.

Allison was over sewing masks so L can take them to school. She even trimmed up the back of L’s hair.

So many masks for L to take along! She’s expanded into Halloween, Marvel characters, Care Bears, Disney and, of course, lots of Illini.

L’s other friend, A, (I’m noticing she has lots of friends whose name starts with A) came over this afternoon. They don’t expect to see each other until Thanksgiving since the university is discouraging trips home. Hope things go well and the school is able to operate with this virus.
