Andy was asked, and agreed, to speak in church about his time commitment to the doughnut operation as part of the stewardship campaign. He thought he was going to speak near the end of the service, but was surprised to open the bulletin and learn that he was to talk pretty close to the beginning instead. At least he got it over with quickly. And he did a good job.
Speaking of good jobs, B drove us to and from church with no incident. We even had to swing by a friend's house to pick L up from a sleepover on our way to church. We're hoping he has enough behind-the-wheel hours to get his license in December or early next year.
