L spent a good portion of Friday with her neighborhood friends, E and B, and their dad and their cousin, S, at the Shedd Aquarium. When they got back, it only seemed fair it was my turn to host for a couple of hours and the girls decided to make cupcakes. At first, they were just going to make spring cupcakes, but as their creative juices started flowing, they decided to create bunnies out of frosting. Lots of frosting. Lots of frosting on the floor, left in the bowls and on the counters. Some of the frosting made it onto the cupcakes.
I didn't think it was going to end well, but they look really cute!
