Baking day

Today E and I spent a good amount of time in the kitchen baking. The students going on the Japan trip are having a fund-raising bake sale at tomorrow's Farmers Market to raise emergency money for their trip. We baked cherry oatmeal cookies, mini banana breads, mini blueberry lemon breads and chocolate chip muffins.

Here's more of sensei's humor in an email she sent about earlier this week about the bake sale: "Students, you should be the ones baking! Not your parents! Work hard and make sure to clean the kitchen after you finish!"
