E drove a few of her fellow classmates who are going on the Japan trip to a store this afternoon to find gifts for their host families. E and a few of the other kids picked up these "flower sticks" (also called devil sticks) to give to their families. E also bought one for herself. She needs a little practice to figure out how to make them work.
