August looks guilty for breaking my ornament, doesn't he?
Here's a picture of the tree before August killed my ornament. It's one of few things I bought in the flurry of after-Thanksgiving sales. It has LED lights on the limbs and has a timer. I had a plan that it would look kind of neat on our back porch so I decorated it with some replica Shiny Brite ornaments I got as a Christmas present last year. As I stood back admiring my decorating skills, B said, "It looks like Charlie Brown's tree." Thanks, kid. I have to agree.
