Today E's Girl Scout troop spent time sightseeing in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC. They went to Georgetown Cupcakes which is the setting for the TLC show, "DC Cupcakes." E got this pretty Orange Blossom cupcake. The Orange Blossom is a seasonal June cupcake. The menu says, "Fresh orange-infused vanilla cupcake with an orange-infused vanilla buttercream frosting topped with an orange fondant flower." Sounds good to me! She said the shop was really small inside.
She said they visited Georgetown University and she spent $120 on souvenirs. Claims she got something for B and L there, too, as well as a pair of sweatpants for herself. Guess they're lined with diamonds. This evening she participated in a candlelight vigil for the One Million Bones project but it rained before they got to the candle-lighting part.
