A neighbor on Facebook was giving away four Boston ferns she had. I've never had much lick with them but figured I could try again. For now, it's hanging in the living room. I've read that they can overwinter in the basement, being watered once a month. Apparently they'll go dormant and appear dead but perk back up in spring. Fingers crossed!
