Homemade poppers

Our favorite appetizer is jalapeno poppers. If it's on the menu when we're out, chances are we'll order it. We made some at home the other day following this recipe. It was our first time making them at home. I seeded them and filled each jalapeno half with a mix of cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Our preference is cheddar cheese only.
Putting the bacon on was a little tricky so we secured it with toothpicks. Andy put them in the air fryer. They were so good - with a side of ranch, of course, and a few baby carrots. Next time we're going to try a piece of cheddar chunk cheese and see if they work without cream cheese.
