Protestant style

Our church had members put together several Stations of the Cross for members and the public to view and contemplate at reserved times throughout the day Friday for a Good Friday observance. It definitely gave off Catholic vibes but it was interesting and creative. It was also nice to be physically in church doing something church-related. It's been a long time. This first one is "Jesus is condemned, Jesus receives the cross."
"Jesus is stripped of his clothing." I thought this was really well done with the red robe and thorny crown. Each station had the accompanying Bible verse. It was a self-guided tour with people coming through at 15-minute intervals.
"Simon helps Jesus carry the cross."
"Jesus is crucified."
They also had a table set up for Communion with wafers and juice packaged together in single servings. The wafer reminded me of home at St. Paul. It was the first time having communion in the building in more than a year.
"Jesus dies." This was another nicely designed display.
"Jesus is taken down and laid in the tomb." This one was created by our friend, B, and he even had a motion-sensored light inside.
