Spring tea

Today we celebrated the spring highlight of Nursery School - the spring tea - via Zoom. It was too cold to sit outside. During a normal year, the tea occurs on blankets outside the church and all the kids have at least parent or caregiver attend. It's a big deal. This year, not so much.

After the tea, I made "end of the year" gifts for each of the kids. We're going to be at the church Thursday so their parents can drive through the parking lot and pick up their memory books, leftover clothes, etc., and we can socially distant wave to each other.

My surprise of the night came when this little cutie (and his older sister) dropped off a gift from the class.

They gave me a daisy, a bottle of wine and a $100 gift card to a local greenhouse. Guess Andy and I have a reason to go buy some flowers now. We certainly have time to plant them.

And E got out on the links today, golfing nine after work. She sent me this picture of a rainbow from the course.
