While L was shopping at Walmart Monday and I was sitting in the car waiting for her, L's friend A's mom called me and said A was in the hospital and had just had surgery for blood clots! She figured L had probably been texting her and didn't want her to worry when she got no response. A wasn't able to have her phone, she was in ICU and her mom couldn't be there when she was going into surgery. Scary times but all is well and A came home from the hospital this morning. L was there to give her a get-well gift.
