I drove to Darla's today to help her and her brother surprise their mom with an 85th birthday party. First stop along the way was Avanti's in Normal.
I bought some bread for dinner at Darla's house - Darik made spaghetti for us. I waited a long time at Avanti's to get bread. The cashier thought I was waiting for a hot item too. She gave me a cookie for waiting.
Darla shows off the tulle table skirt she made for the party. Apparently, it can double as a tutu.
