Japan Fest
B and Takako went to the high school at 10 a.m. This morning to prepare for Japan Fest (the 15th annual!).
Takako worked all day showing people how to do origami. L said she thought Takako looked the prettiest of all the girls in her native costume. I think it's called a yukata.
B worked the money drawer at one of the food stations. Both said they were busy all day.
The sumo wrestling is always fun to watch...
... and the Japanese drummers. L worked at the Fest, selling Japanese books. When we were there, though, she was running around taking pictures. It was crowded. The kids were tired when they got home, but left to go to a birthday party for one of the Japanese students.
