Field's tattoo exhibit

This morning, Andy and I went downtown with E and L to the Field Museum to see the tattoo exhibit. Here's Andy taking a photo of a woman, who said her last name was Field, by the Field Museum sign under the tattoo banner.

Stanley Hall decorated for the holidays. I'm not sure we've ever seen it decorated before.

Andy and E look at a picture in the tattoo exhibit.

It wasn't open today, but at the end of the exhibit is a tattoo shop that, with reservations, was actually giving people free, real tattoos. They've been all booked up for months.

Andy checks out some of the designs. We've always joked that he'd get a naked lady scales of justice on his arm.

Inside the tattoo shop. Pretty sure this is as close as I'll ever be to being in a real tattoo shop.

L was a little fascinated with this prison tattoo needle. Perhaps she's been watching too much "Orange is the New Black."

The girls didn't go into the Terracotta Warriors exhibit, and Andy and I saw it back in March, but they did pose by two of the warriors outside the exhibit. That exhibit closes at the end of the week.

L sat outside on a bench while the three of us went into the China exhibit.

Temps were in the low 40s, which made for a foggy city.
